Native Hawaiians Lag Behind In 8(a) Sole-Source Contracting

Firms owned by Native Hawaiian organizations (NHOs) can obtain large sole-source contracts from the U.S. Defense Department while those owned by Native American tribes and Alaska Native corporations (ANCs) can win large sole-source contracts from any government agency.
