N170 latencies for autistic and non-autistic adults (in milliseconds)

For all facial features, autistic adults' N170 responses occur later than non-autistic adults', the researchers found. There were no significant differences between facial features.

Researchers collected electroencephalography data from 8 autistic and 17 neurotypical adults as they looked at three different faces.
