Manhattan Residential Contracts from June 1-7, 2026

During the first week of June 2026, 261 apartment and townhouse signings were reported in Manhattan, 51 more than the prior week and nine more than the same week in 2025. Aggregate dollar volume based on last ask increased slightly week over week but was down 3% year over year.

The median asking price of signed contracts was $1.349 million, down 6% from the previous week and down 10% from a year ago. Average time on market ticked up to 108 days.

Aggregate sales and median prices are based on each unit's last publicly displayed asking price prior to contract signing. The percent change is compared to the prior week.
