Senior memory care site closing in Los Banos

Valley Spring Memory Care, a 50-bed residential care facility for senior citizens, gave state social services regulators a notice on Sept. 4 that it intended to close in 60 days. Residents there were given eviction notices on Sept. 8. Another nearby facility, New Bethany, is reportedly an option for relocating those displaced Valley Spring residents.

Valley Spring Memory Care was licensed in February 2022 and, from January through July, had an average of about 24 residents.
