Number of OWI Citations issued on Washington Island Annually, 2017-2026

Officer Gary Schultz of the Washington Island Police Department issued three OWI citations between June 2017 and February 2025. Officer Ulises Ponce of the Washington Island Police Department issued seven OWI citations between July 2025 and March 2026. The citations in 2018 and 2019 were issued by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Deputy Darron Smith of the Door County Sheriff’s Office, respectively.
