Centerville Road to close

Centerville Road in East Hempfield Township will be closed between Old Tree Drive and a point just south of Hempland Road from 8 p.m. March 7 to 6 a.m. March 11. The closure is expected to cause delays and congestion. Crews will widen a rail crossing to accommodate two lanes of traffic in each direction on Centerville Road, part of a $36.3 million project scheduled to be completed in August. The full project includes widening Centerville Road and revamping its interchange with Route 30.
