Pennsylvania’s Jobless Claims

Pennsylvania once led the nation in having the most unemployment claims as a percentage of its workforce. But only 55% of the state's residents who made unemployment claims over the past nine weeks are currently on unemployment. Although the situation is still dire, and Pa. has the sixth-most ongoing unemployment claims, it is no longer in the 10 worst states in ongoing claims as a percentage of the workforce.
