Since the start of New York City's congestion pricing toll on Jan. 5, 2025, the number of crash-related injuries has dropped by 14% compared to the same window of time in 2024. Between 2022 and 2024, crash-related injuries rose while the total number crashes in New York City dropped. In 2025, the trend for injuries reversed.
