1. The estimated maximum annual temperature is the most likely value out of a range of estimates. It is the estimated maximum for anywhere within a country during the year.

2. Data uses the CMIP6 SSP2-4.5 scenario, an intermediate emissions scenario which assumes climate actions are taken so that emissions peak in 2040 and are near zero by 2100.
