Lead Poisoning Prevalence, State vs County (2012-23)

In 2023, nearly 10% of children tested for lead poisoning in the city of Syracuse had elevated blood lead levels. This rate was over ten times higher than the rest of Onondaga County and five times higher than the average in New York State from 2012 to 2020.
