Former Assemi land sold for estimated $14M in west Fresno

The approximately 330 acres in west Fresno known as Mission Ranch were sold in early January to an LLC controlled by the CEO of Fresno's Malakan Diamonds.

Mission Ranch was previously owned by the Assemi family, which has been sued in federal court over hundreds of millions of dollars in defaulted loans. The land was sold through a court-appointed receiver.
