Migrant apprehensions along U.S.-Mexico border in April

The San Diego Sector led all others across the U.S.-Mexico border in Border Patrol migrant apprehensions in April, a 49 percent increase over apprehensions in the region when compared to the same time last year. The increased border-crossing activity at spots between ports of entry in San Diego County bumps the Tucson Sector out of the top spot.
