Teacher turnover rates in Dallas ISD increased under Miles

In the years before Mike Miles was appointed superintendent of Dallas school district, teacher turnover rates were between 8% and 15% and lower than statewide rates. Turnover rates in the district hit a 10-year high of 21.9% midway through Miles' tenure in 2013-14, and remained higher than the state average in the years after his departure in 2016.
