Unsheltered Count Falls in Sacramento, Rises Elsewhere

The city of Sacramento’s unsheltered population declined 19% from 2024, though it still accounts for the largest share of the county's unsheltered population. Unsheltered counts more than doubled in Citrus Heights and tripled in Rancho Cordova.
