2023 MBA Pay: Southwest

The pattern continues: Stanford GSB rakes in the highest bases. The school’s 6 graduates who moved to the Southwest averaged $193,667, beating out Northwestern University’s Kellogg School, where 22 graduates averaged $189,409 in base. True to form, Chicago Booth, Harvard Business School, and the Wharton School trail after GSB and Kellogg, running in the $182,000-$185,000 range. Among Southwest MBA programs, the University of Texas’ McCombs topped all comers at $159,788, a $15,520 bump over the previous year. Individually, a Harvard Business School grad notched $425,000 in starting base pay by moving to the Southwest.
