Poll fielded online from August 22-29, 2022, among a national sample of 20,799 adults with a modeled error estimate of ±1.0 percentage points.

Parents are defined as people who told us they are the primary caregivers for a child under the age of 18. The sample size of gender-nonconforming parents was too small to analyze by marital status.
