Growth in giving to LGBTQ+ groups in US is uneven

Charitable donations to LGBTQ+ organizations overall more than doubled to $823 million in 2021, from the $387 million in 2012. But the pace of this growth varied widely for different kinds of these nonprofits. Rates of growth varied by subsector during this period from 7% to 864%.
