Newspaper coverage of climate change shows an apparent decline in some world regions since the Glasgow summit

The chart shows the monthly number of articles in over 100 newspapers and other publications in regions around the world. The shading shows the time period since the October/November 2021 Glasgow climate conference.

The search is for the term 'climate change' or 'global warming' in the Nexis Uni database, and matching and similar searches are conducted in Factiva and other databases. Current data run through August 2025.
