Nashville is the favorite among MLB fans when asked what city should get the league’s next franchise. About one-quarter of the 1,721 fans surveyed felt Orlando, Portland and Montreal should get a club. However, 23% of fans age 45-64 selected Montreal and/or Raleigh, trailing only Nashville among that demographic. Orlando finished No. 6 among the eight markets listed among fans age 65 and older, but No. 1 among Hispanic fans.
