Summer restrictions on E15 have only a tiny effect on the amount of ethanol sold

Ethanol accounts for about 10% of U.S. national gasoline consumption year-round, with a very small decrease in summer due to seasonal restrictions on the sale of E15. The Biden administration is temporarily waiving these limits as part of its efforts to lower gas prices.
