Q: There has recently been a disagreement between Labor, the Coalition and the Greens on housing policy. The Labor government has proposed a Housing Australia Future Fund, which would invest money to provide $500m to invest in building 30,000 homes, plus an extra one-off $2bn payment to states and territories for social housing.
The Coalition has said it will vote against this proposal because it does not do enough and something different is needed, and the Greens have said they would like to negotiate a higher amount being spent on housing plus measures to tackle rising rents before they support it.
Which parties’ stances do you most agree with?
