Numbers are percentages of patients with no leukaemia relapse (with confidence intervals) in patients with low and high proportions of NK cells at 6 and 12 months. Comparing the two groups showed a statistically significant difference, with p = 0.02. The results are biologically significant too.
NK cells | No relapse at 6m (%) | No relapse at 12m (%) |
---|---|---|
Low | 51 (36-54) | 45 (1-58) |
High | 73 (58-83) | 61 (46-72) |
