Northwest ISD is Fort Worth's most northern school district

Northwest ISD is sprawling school district that stretches Tarrant, Denton and Wise counties. The district includes parts of AllianceTexas, a planned community in north Fort Worth. Currently, 29,248 students attend Northwest ISD schools. In 2003, the district had 6,177 students. District projections show enrollment growing to 48,026 by the 2032-33 school year.
