Sabertooth cats roamed the Americas during Pleistocene

Sabertooth cats lived throughout North and South America during the last Ice Age. The youngest radiocarbon dates for their fossils suggest these populations disappeared from the hemisphere around the same time approximately 13,000 years ago.
