Diagnostic centers clustered in larger cities

In 2020, a special needs database compiled by Parent to Parent of Georgia listed 40 facilities that provided pediatric diagnostic screening for autism. However, these services could only be found in five metro areas — Atlanta, Athens, Macon, Columbus and Savannah, leaving much of the state without easy access.
