Forecasted 2029 iGaming tax revenue by rate

If online gaming is legalized, Maryland would allocate most of the tax revenue to education. Accounting for business taken away from brick-and-mortar casinos, taxing gross iGaming revenue at a rate of 15% or above would grow state funds, according to a forecast commissioned by state regulators.
