Most states saw a decrease in tax revenue in FY 2020

The year-on year change in revenues for Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia were -0.9%, -2.6%, -3.1%, -0.6%, 0%, -4.5%, -1.4%, -0.9%, -1.5%, and -6%, respectively.

All figures are rounded to the nearest tenth of a percentage point. Due to the way fiscal years are tracked, these figures may not account for the $900B stimulus bill passed in December 2020 — FY 2019 started on October 1, 2018, and ended on September 30, 2019; FY 2020 started on October 1, 2019, and ended on September 30, 2020.
