The number of people reunited with their unclaimed property

Connecticut's unclaimed property program returned lost checks, long-ignored savings accounts and forgotten insurance proceeds to nearly 73,000 people last year. Over the previous 23 years, the program only reunited roughly 15,000 people on average with their money.
