Non-permanent residents of Canada, by type and quarter

Since mid-2021, more than one million additional non-permanent residents have come to  Canada, with some of the fastest growth among work and study permit holders.

Note: Totals for asylum claimants includes those who hold work and/or study permits, and those who do not. Individuals in the 'other' category include the family members of permit holders, and holders of temporary-resident permits. For more information, please see the source link below.
