Rep. Sainato's Pennsylvania travels

State Rep. Chris Sainato, who represents Lawrence County, has traveled to at least 174 Pennsylvania towns during his time as a lawmaker, either to attend hearings, tour a facility, or participate in a ceremony or other event, according to an analysis of his expense reports.

For those travels, he collected per diems, special flat payments legislators receive for meals and lodging when they travel a certain distance outside their districts.

The number of towns Sainato has visited is certainly higher. In some instances, the lawmaker did not list his location or only indicated a county he visited, rather than a town, when filing expenses.
