Duluth expected to see more 90-degree days

On average, it exceeds 90 degrees at the Duluth International Airport about two days every year. But human-caused climate change could dramatically increase that by the end of the century under different greenhouse-gas emissions scenarios, climate projections show.

Climate projections are made in 20-year intervals beginning in 2040, so a projected value listed a 2050 applies to a decade in either direction — from 2040 to 2059.
