Cal Poly's student diversity shows improvement over the years

Efforts by current university President Jeffrey Armstrong have improved Cal Poly's student body diversity. However, the number of Black and Native American students attending the university has not grown in comparison to other non-white students, and some say the improvement in diversity is coming far too slow.
