Note: The income levels chosen roughly represent the 25th, 50th, and 75th percentiles of the income distribution for families with children approaching college age (estimated from the 2019 Survey of Consumer Finances and adjusted for inflation). Estimates of financial aid are based on calculations obtained from MyinTuition Corp for students with no siblings in college and assume typical asset levels for families with those income levels. Sticker price data was obtained from IPEDS and MyinTuition Corp.
