Pa. COVID-19 death toll

Pennsylvania's first death from the new coronavirus was reported March 18. The count has fluctuated as the state reconciles data with local reporting agencies.

The state solved a reporting lag April 19. Deaths from probable COVID-19 cases were added April 21; about 200 were removed from the count April 25, resulting in a decrease in the death toll. Deaths reported April 29, May 5, May 7, May 8 and May 13-15 represent a reconciling of several weeks' worth of data with reporting entities.
