Changes in Annual PrEP Fill Rate Index, 2014-2022

PrEP annual fill rate index is calculated as total annual PrEP fills, divided by total annual fills for a fixed basket of prescription drugs. Data reflects retail prescription drug fills from January 2014 through July 2022. States with pharmacist prescriptive authority for PrEP include: California, Colorado, Maine, Nevada, Oregon, and Virginia.
