The causes that drew US charitable support through 2025

Congregations and other religious institutions remained by far the top recipients of donations in 2025, followed by human services and education. Aside from giving to religious causes, which fell 0.2%, and to foundations, which declined 18.3%, giving rose across the board to varying degrees.
