More Aboriginal students complete Year 12 or equivalent than ever before

Measure 6.1.3 Number of Aboriginal students who complete the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), including VCE Vocational Major and the Victorian Pathways Certificate

The Senior Secondary Pathways Reform is being implemented to improve vocational and applied learning in senior secondary schooling and the Victorian Certificate in Applied Learning (VCAL) is no longer available in schools. Data in 2023 includes Aboriginal students who completed VCE, VCE Vocational Major, VCAL or VET (Vocational Education Training) in Schools Certificate. Data in 2024 includes Aboriginal students who completed VCE, VCE Vocational Major or the Victorian Pathways Certificate only. The data set from 2011-2023 is not directly comparable to the data set from 2024 onwards.
