Micron spends $10M on land for chipmaking project

Micron Technology has spent $10 million on land in Clay to support the company’s planned computer chip factory. The company reimbursed Onondaga County for the last three parcels of the Micron campus site, and has spent $7.3 million buying land for a child care center, rail spur and wastewater line. The blue dotted line indicates the approximate route of the line, from the Micron campus to Oak Orchard Wastewater Treatment plant.
