Notes: Unless otherwise indicated, quoted percentage figures refer to the increase of gross statutory minimum wages in national currencies between January 2020 and January 2021. Minimum wages are per month, if not otherwise indicated, and are not converted to reflect 12 payments (Spain, Greece and Portugal have 14 monthly payments, Slovenia has 13 monthly payments). * United Kingdom: Figure reflects April 2020 to April 2021 increases. ** Hungary and Ireland: Figure reflects February 2020 to February 2021 increases. Austria, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Italy and Sweden are not included in this figure as they do not have a statutory minimum wage. *** Negotiations on 2021 levels ongoing as of February 2021. No changes since March 2020 (Belgium) and January 2020 (Spain).
