Houston-area school district demographic patterns

Many school districts in Greater Houston saw sharp changes in the number of children born in their jurisdiction between 2014 and 2024, Kinder Institute estimates show. They also had wide variations in the number of kindergartners they enrolled in 2023-24 relative to the number of babies born in their territory in 2018-19.
