Education Recovery Scorecard

Test scores for students across Pennsylvania and the nation continue to lag behind pre-COVID pandemic scores according to a study by the Education Recovery Scorecard, a joint project of Harvard and Stanford universities and Dartmouth College. This chart shows how each public school district in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Schuylkill and Wyoming counties scored in the study. A “0” score would indicate the average test score in that district matched the expected grade level. A “1” score would indicate students on average were a full grade level above the expected level, while a “-1” would indicate students on average were a grade level behind.
