The 2023 women's basketball NCAA championship game featuring Iowa and LSU reached record-high viewership rates, averaging 9.9 million and peaking at 12.6 million. That game over doubled the 2022 championship game between UConn and South Carolina, which averaged 4.85 million viewers.
