Percentage of meat chickens raised on megafarms

FarmKind analysis of USDA data for 2022 shows that megafarms that sell >100,000 chickens per year account for 99.6% of national broiler chickens sold. The map below is of chicken production, not chicken sales to customers (states with 0% megafarms predominantly consume chicken produced in other states)
