A new AP-NORC poll finds that 6 in 10 Americans would support their state conducting vote by mail elections in November due to a coronavirus outbreak. Democrats are more likely than Republicans to favor alternatives to in-person voting.
Results based on interviews with 1,057 U.S. adults conducted April 16-20. The margin of error is ±4.0 percentage points for the full sample.
