The value of construction in Colorado tripled between 2010 to 2018. But 2019 appears to plummet nearly 30%. Industry officials say the situation is better than it looks. In Dec. 2018, projects valued at $2 billion for Denver International Airport projects were permitted though work began later. If permis had been issued a month later, 2018 would be at $22 billion vs. 2019's $19 billion, or down 14%.
