Sports and esports organizations increasingly see the value of NFTs, or non-fungible tokens. They are already making plans to provide these digital baubles to their fans through blockchain markets such as Dmarket, or through third-party fan rewards programs like Socios. Several esports organizations have announced plans for tokens or NFTs including Dignitas, Gen.G, Simplicity Esports, Sentinels, and many others. Only a few, however, have released NFTs that have generated revenue.
