States with laws targeting PFAS 'forever chemicals'
Twenty-one states have laws concerning the use or manufacture of PFAS, a group of chemicals that persist in the environment and can be toxic. Many of the laws address PFAS released into water and found in firefighting foam, carpets and textiles.
