Job creation 2019 to 2024
Texas and Florida together have added more than half the nation's new jobs since 2019. California, New York and Massachusetts, with higher costs of living, fell from the top 10 to the bottom 10 in job creation compared with the previous five years.
Texas and Florida had most of the jobs created since 2019, while higher-cost California, New York and Massachusetts fell from the top 10 to the bottom 10.
