Recycling facility near SK Battery

Metro Site, which handled non-hazardous recyclables, was located about three miles northeast of SK Battery America's factory in Commerce. Lithium-ion battery scraps traced to SK Battery's factory caused a fire that burned Metro Site to the ground in July 2023.
