Solidarity with groups of people

Solidarity in the Swiss healthcare system is demonstrated, among other things, by the fact that people with long-term illnesses or particularly unhealthy lifestyles do not pay more in health insurance premiums than everyone else, or that everyone in the compulsory health insurance scheme benefits from the same services. Solidarity can also lead to individuals benefiting particularly strongly from the healthcare system at the expense of everyone else.
